I would give this product 2 stars but the manufacturer was nice enought to replace my first defective unit quickly so I'm giving them an extra star.
The 1st unit I got was defective in that it had a super noisy fan like it was clipping something. They replaced the unit quickly with a working one.
The 2nd unit worked ok-ish.
PROS:
-slim
-lightweight
-has 2 USB outputs
-enough wattage to power my laptop and several other devices, even my coffee grinder during car camping trips.
CONS:
-Ground recepticle is a fake plastic piece that slides out and easily gets lost.
-the recepticle in general is not quite US standard. Plugs will not stay in well and fall out easily.
-The 12v power cord detaches from the main body, i guess kind of a nice feature if you want to bundle the cord seperately. but it also easily becomes detached on its own.
At the time this was the only small, slim, and lightweight power inverter. If there is a competative product out there, give it serious consideration.
